Ather Energy Delivers 250 Electric Scooters During Diwali: Ather 450X Unlocks New Milestone

There used to be a time when Ather Energy was addressed as an electric two-wheeler startup. However, it is now a full-fledged electric vehicle manufacturer with tens of thousands of its scooters on Indian roads. With the 450X, the brand has produced the most reliable electric scooter in the country and timely updates have ensured that the 450X remains at the top of its game.

In addition to this, premium electric scooter sales have been on the rise for a while now. More and more buyers are buying premium electric scooters. Naturally, this is a phenomenon that increases manifold during the festive season. During the festive season, more Indians go on a buying spree as it is considered auspicious.

Dhanteras, which is the first day of Diwali, is considered one of the most auspicious days to purchase something expensive like Gold or Silver or even a vehicle. Well, this Dhanteras seems to have been brilliant for Ather Energy as the brand delivered 250 scooters simultaneously.

The delivery event took place on 23 October, 2022 in Bangalore where buyers of the Ather 450X were invited to experience a mass delivery. All colour options of the 450X were lined up to be delivered. However, it does seem like Space Grey is the most popular colour option.

Tarun Mehta, CEO of Ather Energy tweeted, "Congratulations to our partner BIA ventures, the entire Bangalore sales team and all our amazing customers for taking home 450X this Dhanteras".

This comes just a couple of months after Gen 3 of the Ather 450X was launched. The new generation of the scooter features a new 3.7kWh battery pack which gives it a range of 105 kilometres. The 6.2kW motor offers increased performance levels with 0-40km/h done in just 3.3 seconds while the top speed is 90km/h.

Thoughts On 250 Units Of The Ather 450X Being Delivered During Diwali

The Ather 450X is the most mature electric scooter in the market and hence, buyers obviously choose the scooter over the competition. The very fact that 250 units of the Ather 450X were delivered on the same day, goes to show just how much demand there is for this scooter. This demand will only increase in the coming days and months.
