5 Things About Suzuki Avenis You Should Know: Engine, Features & More
The Suzuki Access is a practical scooter with a potent 125cc engine capable of delivering peppy performance. Thanks to this powertrain, Suzuki Access is also a favourite among many young riders despite having a somewhat mature design language.

Speaking about the design, the mature design of the Access has been a hindrance for Suzuki to reach the majority of the young consumers. The launch of Suzuki Avenis will seal this gap in Suzuki's current product portfolio, enabling the Japanese two-wheeler giant to attract more young riders.
Here are five things you should know about the Suzuki Avenis.

Design
The Suzuki Avenis is nothing like the Suzuki Access with its sharp styling that is more reminiscent of other scooters like the TVS Ntorq, Yamaha Ray ZR, and Honda Dio.
In fact, the Suzuki Avenis looks a lot like the TVS Ntorq in terms of styling with its black visor, bright colours, sharp front apron and side panels.

Engine
The newly launched Suzuki Avenis is powered by the same 125cc engine that powers the Suzuki Access. This means the engine produces a maximum power of 8.7bhp of peak power and 10Nm of peak torque.

However, Suzuki could have tuned the engine for better performance, as it would have given the Avenis a unique riding experience.

Chassis & Suspension
Under the skin, the Suzuki Avenis is essentially a Suzuki Access with identical chassis, suspension and tyres. While this set-up is not as sporty as the styling of the Avenis, on the positive side, the Suzuki Avenis is just as comfortable and practical as the Suzuki Access.

As a result, the Suzuki Avenis will be a comfortable scooter on long rides with plenty of room on the floorboard and enough space to fit a full-size helmet under the seat.

Features
In terms of features, the Suzuki Avenis gets two gloveboxes (out of which one of the gloveboxes sports a USB charger), an external fuel filler, Bluetooth enabled digital instrument console, side-stand engine cut-off, LED headlights, LED taillamps, and a few more.

Apart from that, the user can sync their mobile phone using the Suzuki Ride Connect application and access more features such as turn-by-turn navigation, incoming call alert, SMS alert, WhatsApp message alert, missed call and unread SMS alert, speed exceeding warning, phone battery level display and the estimated time of arrival.

Price & Colours
The Suzuki Avenis is available in five different colour combinations and prices range from Rs 86,700 (ex-showroom, Delhi) to Rs 87,000 (ex-showroom, Delhi).

- Metallic Matte Fibroin Grey / Metallic Lush Green: Rs 86,700 (ex-showroom, Delhi)

Thoughts About Suzuki Avenis
The Suzuki Avenis is a sporty looking scooter with sharp styling and peppy performance. However, under the skin, it is essentially a Suzuki Access, making it one of the comfier scooters in its segment - making it an ideal scooter for those who require a sporty and young-looking scooter without the disadvantages of a sporty scooter.
