2023 Triumph Speed Triple 765 Specs & Dimensions

The 2023 Triumph Speed Triple lineup draws power from a significantly upgraded liquid-cooled, DOHC, 12-valve 765cc inline three-cylinder engine. In the Speed Triple 765 R, the engine pushes out 118.4bhp at 11,500rpm and 80Nm of peak torque.

In the RS and Moto2 Edition models, the peak power output rises to 128.2bhp at 12,000rpm while the torque figure remains the same.

The engine on the 2023 Speed Triple 765 lineup is paired with a 6-speed gearbox with a slip-and-assist wet multi-plate clutch setup. The engine vents its fury to the world with the help of a brand-new exhaust system which features increased flow rates and a single-sided silencer that plays the hair-raising soundtrack of the screaming inline triple.

The new Speed Triple 765 lineup features an aluminium beam twin-spar frame with 2 piece high pressure die cast rear subframe. The R and RS variant sport fully adjustable Showa 41mm big piston forks at the front while the Moto2 Edition sports fully adjustable Ohlins NIX30 setup at the front.

At the rear, the R variant sports a fully adjustable Showa mono-shock at the rear while the RS and Moto2 Edition sport an Ohlins STX40 fully adjustable mono-shock.

The braking setup on the new Speed Triple 765 lineup consists of twin 310mm discs at the front and a single 220mm disc at the rear. The R sports Brembo M4.32 4-piston radial monoblock callipers at the front while the RS and Moto2 Edition models get Brembo's Stylema 4-piston radial monoblock clampers.

Clamping down the single disc at the rear for all three variants is a Brembo single-piston calliper. The brakes are aided by the latest optimised cornering ABS setup.

The Speed Triple 765 lineup for 2023 rides on 17-inch cast aluminium wheels shod with 120/70 ZR 17 (front) and 180/55 ZR 17 (rear) tyres. The Street Triple 765 R rides on Continental ContiRoad tyres while the RS and Moto2 Edition models are fitted with high-performance Pirelli Diablo Supercorsa SP V3 tyres.

Triumph claims that the 2023 Speed Triple 765 lineup is the most aggressive and focused version of the lineup to date. The new Speed Triple 765 lineup features all-new bodywork completely redesigned for the newest iteration of the bikes.

The front end features a headlight finisher that also incorporates the air intake. Also seen are angular panels on the 15-litre fuel tank that align quite nicely with the sharper radiator cowls.

The rear section of the new Speed Triple 765 lineup sports an upswept design and an interchangeable pillion seat. The chunky exhaust adds to the sporty character of the new Speed Triple 765 lineup.

The 2023 Street Triple 765 R is offered in two colour options - Silver Ice with Storm Grey and Yellow graphics or Crystal White with Storm Grey and Lithium Flame graphics.

The Street Triple 765 RS ups the ante with three colourways on offer - Silver Ice with Baja Orange and Storm Grey graphics, Carnival Red with Carbon Black and Aluminium Silver graphics or Cosmic Yellow with Carbon Black and Aluminium Silver graphics.

The Speed Triple 765 Moto2 Edition turns everything up to 11 by using carbon fibre bits for quite a few of its panels. The Moto 2 Edition is offered in two colours - Triumph Racing Yellow with an Aluminium Silver rear sub-frame or Crystal White with Triumph Racing Yellow rear subframe - both of which will be limited to 765 units each.

The Moto 2 Edition bikes will also feature official Moto2 branding on the tank, wheel, tail unit and silencer as well as an exquisitely machined top yoke with the number of the motorcycle etched onto it.

The Triumph Speed Triple 765 lineup is the most aggressive and focused version of the British marque's middleweight naked sports bike. While we'd love to get our hands on a Moto2 Edition, the rarity of the bike will ensure it sells out before we ever see it on the streets in 2023. Best to get the RS then.
