2023 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R Launched In India At Rs 15.99 Lakh - 210bhp, Bluetooth Connectivity & More
Japanese two-wheeler manufacturer Kawasaki has launched the 2023 Ninja ZX-10R superbike in India. Moreover, the new 2023 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R is priced at Rs 15.99 lakh (ex-showroom, India), and it is available in a single variant only.
The 2023 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R superbike is available in two colour options - Lime Green, and Pearl Robotic White. Moreover, the 2023 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R also comes with interesting graphics to make the motorcycle look a bit more 'Racy'.
In a nutshell, the 2023 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R superbike remains largely unchanged compared to the model it replaces. However, engineers at Kawasaki have made a few changes to the motorcycle to make it a bit more competitive and contemporary.
Coming to the 2023 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R, the superbike continues to use the twin-spar type cast aluminium frame and the 17-inch fuel tank continues to compliment its large fairing.
Speaking about the fairing, though the 2023 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R continues to use a similar-looking full-fairing, the motorcycle now comes with integrated winglets to provide additional downforce to keep the front end of the motorcycle planted and stable at high speeds and hard acceleration.
In addition to that, the 2023 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R superbike now comes with a new 'Ram Intake' as well. Also, the 2023 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R superbike comes with features such as twin-pod LED headlights, a sleek tail lamp, a larger windscreen for minimised drag and more.
In terms of features on the 2023 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R, the superbike now sports a 4.3-inch TFT instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity. Other features include Dual-Channel ABS, traction control, cruise control, ride-by-wire throttle, and multiple ride modes.
Speaking about mechanical bits, the 2023 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R superbike comes with 43mm inverted Balance Free Forks (BFF) at the front and a horizontal back-link, gas-charged mono-shock unit at the rear. Moreover, braking duties are taken care of by dual semi-floating 330mm Brembo disc brakes at the front and a 220mm disc at the rear.
Coming to the powertrain, Kawasaki continues to use the 998cc, 4-cylinder, DOHC engine. This engine now produces 200.2bhp of peak power at 13,200rpm (210.3bhp with Ram air intake) and 114.9Nm of torque at 11,400rpm. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a 6-speed gearbox, however, the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd gears have been shortened along with a larger rear sprocket (39T vs 41T) for better acceleration.
The seat height of the 2023 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R stands at 835mm and comes with a ground clearance of 135mm. In terms of weight, the 2023 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R is on the heavier side weighing in at 207kg.
For India, the single-seat option for the ZX-10R superbike has been made standard. This gives the motorcycle a very aggressive and racy stance as well.
