2022 Royal Enfield Scram 411 To Be Launched In March: Likely To Be Positioned Below Himalayan
Royal Enfield will soon launch the much-awaited Royal Enfield Scram 411 in India. According to a recent teaser, the Himalayan based scrambler-style motorcycle could be launched on 7th March 2022.

The launch of the Royal Enfield Scram 411 is imminent as official Royal Enfield Scram 411 accessories such as t-shirts and keychains have arrived at Royal Enfield dealerships. Apart from that, images of Royal Enfield Scram 411 at a Royal Enfield dealership yard was also doing rounds on the internet.

Design-wise, the upcoming Royal Enfield Scram 411 continues the retro theme and clearly shows its strong roots to the Royal Enfield Himalayan.
In fact, the upcoming Royal Enfield Scram 411 does look like a Royal Enfield Himalayan without the windscreen and front fender.

Apart from that, the Royal Enfield Scram 411 uses a round headlamp, fork gaiters, upswept exhaust, and fuel tank that resemble the Royal Enfield Himalayan. However, the headlamp unit is not a fixed unit as in the Royal Enfield Himalayan.

One of the most noticeable changes is the inclusion of small fuel tank shrouds at the front and a single-piece grab rail at the rear.

By being a scrambler motorcycle, expect the Royal Enfield Scram 411 to be slightly more road-focused compared to the Royal Enfield Himalayan. Thanks to a more road-focused approach, Royal Enfield has also ditched the off-road friendly 21-inch front wheels in favour of more road-biased 19-inch front wheels.

This 19-inch front wheel further complements the retro design theme. Royal Enfield has continued the use of spoked wheels at both ends and these wheels are shod with what looks like dual-purpose tyres.

Recently, the brochure of the upcoming Royal Enfield Scram also revealed some of the features that will be made available in the motorcycle. As per the brochure, the Royal Enfield Scram 411 comes with an updated instrument console, Tripper navigation system, dual-channel ABS, aluminium sump guard and a few more.

Since the upcoming Royal Enfield Scram 411 is essentially a toned-down Himalayan, we expect the upcoming Royal Enfield Scram 411 to be powered by the same 411cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine from the Royal Enfield Himalayan.

However, this engine could be tuned differently. As of now, this engine in the Royal Enfield Himalayan produces 24.3bhp and 32Nm of torque and comes mated to a 5-speed gearbox.
However, Royal Enfield will retune the suspension to suit the motorcycle's more road-focused nature.

Thoughts About Royal Enfield Scram 411
The Royal Enfield Scram 411 is an attractive motorcycle and it is more likely to be a runaway success for the company. This will help Royal Enfield extend their market share in the Indian automobile market.
