2022 Royal Enfield Scram 411 Brochure Leaked Ahead Of Launch: Skimmed Himalayan?

This means the launch of the Royal Enfield Scram 411 is just around the corner and Royal Enfield may launch the scrambler-style motorcycle before the end of this month.

From the leaked brochure images of the Royal Enfield Scram 411, it is clear that the upcoming scrambler-styled motorcycle is based on the Royal Enfield Himalayan and continues to use the retro theme.

At a glance, the upcoming Scrambler does look like a Royal Enfield Himalayan without the windscreen and front fender. Moreover, the Royal Enfield Scram 411 uses a round headlamp, fork gaiters, upswept exhaust, and fuel tank that look similar to the one in the Royal Enfield Himalayan. However, the headlamp unit is a movable unit unlike the fixed unit in the Himalayan.

Other changes include small fuel tank shrouds at the front and a simpler single-piece grab rail at the rear. The designers at Royal Enfield have also incorporated numerous other changes to differentiate the Royal Enfield scram 411 from the Royal Enfield Himalayan.

Since the Royal Enfield Scram 411 is more road-focused compared to Royal Enfield Himalayan, Royal Enfiled has ditched the off-road friendly 21-inch front wheels in favour of more road-biased yet slightly off-road worthy 19-inch front wheels.

To further complement the retro design theme, Royal Enfield has continued the use of spoked wheels at both ends and these wheels are shod with what looks like dual-purpose tyres.

The leaked brochure of the Royal Enfield Scram also reveals some of the highlight features of the motorcycle. As per the brochure, the Royal Enfield Scram 411 comes with an updated instrument console with a Tripper navigation system, dual-channel ABS, and an aluminium sump guard.

We expect the up Royal Enfield Scram 411 to be powered by the tried-and-tested 411cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled- SOHC engine from the Royal Enfield Himalayan. This engine is also likely to be tuned similarly with 24.3bhp and 32Nm of torque.

Braking duties are also likely to be handled by a 300mm disc brake at the front and a 240mm disc brake at the rear. However, Royal Enfield will retune the suspension to suit the motorcycle's more road-focused nature.

Thoughts About Royal Enfield Scram 411

The Royal Enfield Scram 411 carries a very attractive design and it is most likely to be a hit among the younger audiences. Moreover, since the motorcycle is based on the Himalayan, the Scram 411 will have decent off-road capability as well.
