2022 KTM 390 Adventure Arrives At Dealership: Comes with New Colour Options & More

KTM recently launched the updated 390 Adventure in the US market and as all KTM motorcycles up to 390cc are manufactured in India, it is safe to expect the Indian model to have the same changes.

For starters, the new 2022 KTM 390 Adventure motorcycle does look quite different compared to its predecessor, thanks to its new colour options - Grey/Black and Blue. Moreover, both colour options also sport KTM's signature orange accents and body graphics.

Moreover, the design looks a bit more aerodynamic as KTM has made several subtle changes to the body panels to better suit the rider's requirement. These changes include new tank shrouds, tank design, rear side panels and headlight mask.

This new design also makes the 2022 KTM 390 Adventure motorcycle look a bit more balanced than its predecessor. These changes will give more freedom to riders' movement and aerodynamics for better protection against wind blasts.

Another noticeable change on the new 2022 KTM 390 Adventure motorcycle is the use of new 5-spoke alloy wheels instead of the previous 6-spoke alloy wheels. We expect, this revision to reduce the unsprung mass of the wheel and give better response.

The new 2022 KTM 390 Adventure remains largely unchanged in terms of features and comes with gizmos such as LED headlights, LED turn indicators, LED taillamps, an adjustable windscreen, a fully coloured TFT instrument display with smartphone connectivity, optional turn-by-turn navigation and a 12V charging port (standard).

Apart from this, the new 2022 KTM 390 Adventure motorcycle comes with non-adjustable inverted forks at the front and WP Apex mono-shock at the rear. Braking duties are handled by a single disc brake set up at the front and the rear with dual-channel ABS with offroad mode.

2022 KTM 390 Adventure will be powered by the same tried-and-tested 373.2cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine. This engine produces 42.3bhp of peak power and 37Nm of peak torque, and comes mated to a six-speed gearbox with a bi-directional quick-shifter.
