Suzuki Avenis 125 Scooter Launched In India - Prices Start At Rs 86,700

Japanese two-wheeler manufacturer Suzuki has launched the Avenis scooter in India. The all-new Suzuki Avenis is priced at Rs 86,700. The Suzuki Avenis Race Edition features a livery inspired by the one on the 2020 Moto GP season winning team bike and is priced at Rs 87,000 (all prices ex-showroom).

Suzuki Avenis Engine & Gearbox

The Suzuki Avenis is powered by a 124cc single cylinder engine that produces 8.58bhp at 6,750rpm and 10Nm of torque at 5,500rpm. The engine sends power to the rear wheel of the new Suzuki Avenis via a CVT automatic gearbox.

Suzuki Avenis Design

The Suzuki Avenis features a very sporty design. The scooter features a sporty design that is targeted at a younger generation. The low mounted headlight is a full LED unit. The Suzuki Avenis' front apron features a sculpted design with sharp lines while the scooter's turn indicators are placed on the handlebar cowl and flank the sides of the small fly screen.

The sides of the new Suzuki Avenis continue with the dual-tone look with the main bright paint colour being contrasted by the dark black of the new Avenis. The Avenis sports flush-fit footrests for the pillion rider and a long floor section along with a stepped seat. The sides also play host to the chunky new exhaust and split grab handles.

The rear end of the new Suzuki Avenis is dominated by the split taillight section and the motorcycle inspired rear indicators. The tail section of the scooter also houses the external fuel filler cap for easier stops at the fuel station.

Suzuki Avenis Features

The Suzuki Avenis sports a fully digital LCD display for the instrument panel. Owners of the new Suzuki Avenis can connect with the new scooter's digital display with the Suzuki Connect app which enables a host of features. These features include caller id, message alerts for both SMS and WhatsApp, turn by turn navigation and more.

The Suzuki Avenis sports a large storage compartment in the front apron section which also plays host to the USB charging port to ensure that your connected device doesn't run out of charge. The Avenis also gets two storage hooks and a large under-seat storage compartment which looks to be large enough for a full-sized helmet.

The new Avenis also gets an engine kill switch with Suzuki easy start system and side stand interlock system which does not allow the scooter to start if the side stand hasn't been pulled up.

The Suzuki Avenis is offered in a number of colour options including Blue, Green, Orange, White and Black. Bookings for the Suzuki Avenis will start in the first week of December.
