Royal Enfield Motorcycles Price Increase Announced In India: Here Is The New Price List

Royal Enfield motorcycles have received the latest round of price hike from the company. The entire line-up of models except the Himalayan has been affected by the price increase. This includes the recently launched Meteor 350, which has been the recent product launches from the brand.

The price increase ranges between Rs 200 to Rs 3,000, depending on the model. Starting with the new model, the Meteor 350 is available in a total of three variants. When launched, the motorcycle ranged between Rs 1.75 lakh and Rs 1.90 lakh. After the price increase, the cruiser now retails at Rs 1.78 lakh and Rs 1.93 lakh. All prices mentioned are ex-showroom (Delhi).

Moving to the brand's popular motorcycle, the Classic 350. The dual-channel ABS model retailed between Rs 1.69 lakh and Rs 1.86 lakh depending on the colour scheme. However, after the price increase, it now costs between Rs 1.71 lakh and Rs 1.88 lakh — an increase of around Rs 2,000.

The Bullet 350 and the 350X range have received a price hike of around Rs 200. The entry-level Bullet 350 retails at Rs 1.33 lakh. While the 350X kick start and electric start models retail at Rs 1.27 lakh and Rs 1.42 lakh, respectively. All prices mentioned are ex-showroom (Delhi).

Moving to the brand's flagship motorcycle the Interceptor 650 and the Continental GT 650, the two motorcycles attracts the highest price hike among all the models. The price of the Interceptor 650 has increased between Rs 2,989 to Rs 3,220. While the top-spec Continental GT650 has received a hike between Rs 3,166 to Rs 3,378.

Apart from the new prices, these motorcycles also receive a new tyre. The company has replaced the Pirelli Phantom Sportscomp tyres to an affordable CEAT Zoom Cruz F rubber, despite the increase in pricing.

The Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 is available in a host of colour options, all of which are affected by the price increase. This includes Orange Crush, Silver Spectre, Mark Three, Ravishing Red, Baker Express, and the top-spec Glitter and Dust. After the price increase, the Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 retails between Rs 2.69 lakh and 2.91 lakh, ex-showroom (Delhi).

Similarly, the Royal Enfield Continental GT 650 is also available in a couple of paint schemes to choose from. This includes Ventura Blue, Black Magic, Ice Queen White, Dr Mayhem, and the top-spec Mister Clean. After the price increase, the Royal Enfield Continental GT 650 retails between Rs 2.85 lakh and 3.06 lakh. All prices mentioned in this article are ex-showroom (Delhi).

Royal Enfield has increased the price of all its models expecte for the Himalayan in the Indian market. According to recent reports, the adventure-tourer will be updated to the 2021 Model Year with a few upgrades and a new price tag. Despite the price increase, the 650 twins remain the most affordable 650cc parallel-twin motorcycle sold in the country.
