Kawasaki To Introduce New Colours For The Ninja 400 In India Soon
Kawasaki has updated the Ninja 400 with three new colour schemes in international markets. The updates are purely aesthetic and and there are no mechanical changes to the motorcycle. The Indian market will get the colour updates later this year or in early 2020 as a 2020 model.
The Kawasaki Ninja 400 was first showcased at the 2017 EICMA motorcycle show in Italy and it was finally launched in India back in April 2018. It is a motorcycle that has sold well for the Japanese brand since then, across markets.
However, the Ninja 400 was so far available only in the signature Kawasaki Green colour in all markets. While it did attract the traditional Kawasaki enthusiasts, those who wanted more colours looked elsewhere.
Kawasaki wanted to retain those buyers looking for more colour options and has hence launched the motorcycle in three new colour schemes. The Kawasaki Ninja 400 is now available in a Black & White colour with Red highlights and Black & Grey with Golden accents.
The traditional Kawasaki Green colour is also available, but it now comes with new graphics and Red and Golden accents. The motorcycles remain the same mechanically. It continues to be based on the same steel trellis frame.
Up front, it rides on a conventional telescopic fork and a mono shock at the rear. Braking duties are handled by a 310mm petal disc up front and a 220mm petal disc at the rear.
The Kawasaki Ninja 400 is powered by a liquid-cooled, 399cc, parallel-twin engine with a maximum power output of 48.3bhp at 10,000rpm and a peak torque output of 38Nm at 8,000rpm. A 6-speed gearbox assisted by a slipper clutch drives the rear wheel.
The Kawasaki Ninja 400 features unique styling. Up front is the well-known twin headlamp face with sharp proportions and styling. At the side is a full fairing and at the rear is an LED tail lamp. Instrumentation duties are handled by a digital-analogue instrument cluster. The new colours have added to the aesthetic appeal of the Kawasaki Ninja 400.
Thoughts On Kawasaki Ninja 400 Being Updated With Three new Colour Schemes
The more choices one has with colours on a motorcycle, the more attention it will draw. The Kawasaki Ninja 400 is a brilliant motorcycle with lovely performance. However, Kawasaki had made it available with just one colour until. Now that new colours have been introduced, we can expect Kawasaki to attract more buyers.
