New Yamaha YZF-R25 To Be Revealed In November 2018
Yamaha is all set to unveil the new YZF-R25 by November 2018. According to emerging reports, the new Yamaha YZF-R25 will be revealed at the 2018 Indonesia Motorcycle Show. The Yamaha YZF-R25 and the YZF-R3 share the same design and we will get the first glimpse of the new R3 in November 2018.

The new Yamaha YZF-R25 and the R3 will feature a revamped front end with the sleek LED headlights similar to the new R15. The front end will be sharper and more aggressive as compared to the current model. Overall, the new R3 will look more sporty similar to the R15.

In terms of mechanical components, the new Yamaha R25 and R3 will feature upside-down front forks. But the India-spec R3 is expected to get conventional telescopic forks similar to the R15 V3.0 to keep the costs down. Yamaha has gone with a similar approach with the new R15 V3.0.

Apart from that, there will be no major changes done to the new R25 and the R3. The motorcycle will feature the same clip-on handlebars, sporty step-up split seat, dual-tone exhaust and sleek LED tail light. But we expect Yamaha to redesign the front fairing of the new R3 to go with the new front end.

The Yamaha R25 will draw power from the same 249cc liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine that produces 35bhp and 22.6Nm of torque. Powering the R3 will be the same 321cc liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine that is tuned to produce 41.4bhp and 29.6Nm of torque.

Both the Yamaha YZF-R25 and the R3 will feature a 6-speed gearbox. According to reports, the new R25 and R3 will also get slipper clutch and Variable Valve Actuation (VVA) technology. Other cycle parts will remain the same as the currently sold model.

Thoughts On The New Yamaha YZF-R25 And R3
The Yamaha R3 has been one of the best entry-level performance bikes in the Indian market. In 2018, Yamaha updated the R3 with new colours and ABS. Now, the company is all set to reveal the new R25 and the R3 will also feature an identical design. The new R3 will rival the likes of Kawasaki Ninja 300 and TVS Apache RR 310.
