As the name suggests, the Honda X-Blade features a sharp and edgy design which gives it a menacing look. Up front, the X-Blade gets a first-in-segment robo-face full-LED headlamp which renders the motorcycle an aggressive stance. The front cowl is also sharply designed and is complemented by a tall windscreen to reduce wind buffeting. The dual-tone front mudguard adds to the looks of the motorcycle.

The Honda X-Blade sports a muscular fuel tank with sporty tank shrouds, the side panels are finished in black colour which gels well with the overall design. The motorcycle also gets a engine cowl which gives the X-Blade a premium touch. The step-up single seat looks sporty and suits the overall sharp design of the bike.

The tail section of the Honda X-Blade is sharp and pointy with the razor-edged LED tail lamp, split grab rails and sporty tail tidy design. The motorcycle also features a rear tyre hugger. The rear cowl gets a sleek design, and the dual-tone colour enhances the looks of the motorcycle.

Honda is also offering a special accessory kit for the X-Blade to make it look like an adventure motorcycle. Called as the X-Blade Adventure, the motorcycle features several cosmetic updates to make long-distance touring easier. The accessories are limited to only cosmetic updates and do not get any mechanical parts to justify the adventure tag.

The Honda X-Blade Adventure features a tall windscreen to avoid wind blast at high speed, a crash guard and a rear luggage rack which can accommodate a top box. Other changes include matte grey colour with camouflage graphics on the headlamp cowl and tank shrouds, faux carbon fibre accent, ‘X' branding and yellow rim stickers.

Honda X-Blade Engine Details

Powering the new Honda X-Blade is the existing 162.7cc single-cylinder, air-cooled engine producing 13.93bhp and 13.9Nm of torque. The engine is coupled to a 5-speed gearbox. The Honda X-Blade is based on the same diamond frame chassis which aids in superior handling. The Honda X-Blade Adventure also gets the same engine with similar power figures.

The newly unveiled Honda X-Blade is loaded with features such as all-new fully-digital instrument cluster with a service reminder and gear shift indicator. Another prominent feature of the X-Blade is the first-in-segment robo-face full-LED headlamp with positioning lamp and razor-edged tail light.

The switchgear quality of the X-Blade looks premium but missed out on the engine kill switch. The motorcycle gets clear lens indicators which enhance the looks of the X-Blade. The motorcycle is equipped with petal disc brake at the front and drum brake setup at the rear. The dual outlet muffler with chrome plate gives a sporty look to the commuter bike. The X-Blade also gets five-spoke alloy wheels.

Honda X-Blade is a 160cc sporty commuter motorcycle. Currently, the 160cc segment is crowded with many bikes from major manufacturers. When the Honda X-Blade goes on sale in India in March 2018, it will rival the likes of Bajaj Pulsar NS160, TVS Apache RTR 160, Yamaha FZ 16 range and the Suzuki Gixxer.

The Honda X-BLade is a 160cc commuter motorcycle with modern styling and premium features. The X-Blade is ahead of its competition and will be launched in the Indian market in the first week of March 2018. Honda is expected to launch the X-Blade in India with a competitive price tag of around Rs 75,000 ex-showroom. Given the affordable price tag and amount of features, the X-Blade will find a lot of buyers in the country.
