Hero Passion PRO & XPRO launched in India. The Hero Passion PRO & XPRO prices stand at Rs 53,189 and Rs 54,189 ex-showroom (Delhi), respectively. The new Hero Passion models are aimed to dominate the domestic motorcycle market in which the brand has over 50% market share.
Hero MotoCorp also leads in the 100-110cc segment with a market share of over 75%. The Hero Passion is the second largest selling motorcycle in India; first being the Hero Splendor.

It also gets a semi-digital instrument console with features such as digital fuel gauge, trip meter and a side-stand indicator.
The Passion PRO is available in five metallic colour options: Sports Red, Black Monotone, Forced Silver, Heavy Grey and Frost Blue.
The Hero Passion XPRO
The Passion XPRO is targeted at the youth with its dynamic shrouds, different cowl design and LED tail lamps. The XPRO gets the same instrument console of the PRO but gets a smaller 9.2-litre fuel tank.
The new Passion XPRO comes in five dual-tone colour schemes: Sports Red + Black, Black + Sports Red, Black + Techno Blue, Black + Heavy Grey and Force Silver + Black. The XPRO also gets tubeless tyres, something which the PRO lacks.
The Engine Of The New Hero Passion Models
Both the Hero Passion PRO and the XPRO are powered by a BS-IV compliant 110cc engine which produces 9.3bhp @ 7500rpm and 9Nm @ 5500rpm. The engine is mated to a 5-speed gearbox and both motorcycles can do a 0-60km/h sprint in 7.45 seconds. Hero's i3S (Idle-Start-Stop-System) technology ensures more efficiency.
Thoughts On The New Hero Passion PRO & XPRO
The two new Passion models are aimed to attract even more masses with their updated styling and features. The Hero Passion has always been a best-seller since its very start. Being a Hero commuter, the motorcycles are also expected to give a class-ranging mileage figure. The availability of an optional front disc brake is also a plus.
