The Hero Maestro Edge 125 was unveiled at the Auto Expo 2018. The new Maestro 125 features an expanded version of the regular Maestro's 110cc engine. The Maestro Edge 125 offers a better low-end torque, which is ideal for city riding.
Alongside the Maestro Edge 125, Hero MotoCorp also unveiled the Duet 125. The Duet 125 is powered by the same engine as in the Maestro 125, but features less and looks a lot different. Here are the Hero Maestro Edge top features you should know!
Hero Maestro Edge 125 Design Features
The new 125cc Maestro Edge features a sharp design compared to its sibling, the Duet 125. With blacked-out parts and 5-spoke alloy wheels, the Maestro Edge 125 is a good-looking scooter. While the duet is aimed at a wider audience, the styling of the new Maestro 125 clearly targets the young.
The Maestro Edge 125 features a matte paint scheme. The scooter has sharp lines overall. The seats have been designed in such a way that it blends well with the overall ‘edgy' design.

The 125cc Hero Maestro Edge gets a split-LED tail lamp unit. The Maestro 125 also features a black single-piece grab rail, which is wide and comfortable to hold on to.
Hero Maestro Edge Engine Features
The 125cc engine is an expanded version of the 110cc unit in the regular Maestro Edge. The Maestro Edge 125 is also equipped with Hero MotoCorp's i3S (idle-Start-Stop-System) technology, which helps improve the fuel efficiency.

The new Hero Maestro 125 features a lot when it comes to the comfort and convenience department. The wide seat and the comfortable upright seating position of the new Hero Maestro, gives a relaxed riding experience.
The Maestro Edge 125 also comes with a mobile charging port in the illuminated under-seat storage, and external fuel filling.
Hero Maestro Edge Safety Features
The Hero Maestro gets an optional front disc brake. The scooter also gets Hero's Integrated Braking System (IBS), which applies both brakes in a safe way, even when you press only one lever. The system is similar to Honda's Combi-Brake System.
Hero Maestro Edge 125 Colours
The new Maestro Edge 125 comes in two matte shades - Red and Blue. Both colours look really good with the blacked-out components of the Hero Maestro 125.

The Hero Maestro Edge gets a semi-digital instrument console. The console shows all the basic information, and also gets a service reminder and a side-stand indicator.
