Hero Duet 125 Renamed As Destini 125 — Launch Soon
World's largest two-wheeler manufacturer Hero Motocorp showcased the Duet 125 and the Maestro 125 at the Auto Expo 2018. Now, GaadiWaadi reports the Hero Duet 125 has been renamed as Destini 125. This indicates that the launch of the new Destini 125 is around the corner.

The report states that the Hero Destini 125 and the Maestro 125 was recently showcased to the dealers. The new Destini moniker is expected to inject a new life into the 125cc scooter. On the design front, the Destini 125 sports a clean and simple design with few premium bits.

The Hero Destini 125 features a silver garnish on the front apron which also houses the indicators. The 125cc scooter also gets a dual-tone seat. The tail section of the Destini 125 is sharp and edgy with a silver grab rail. The exhaust muffler gets a silver heat shield which adds to the looks of the scooter.

The Hero Destini 125 draws power from a 124.6cc air-cooled, single-cylinder engine that produces 8.7bhp and 10.2Nm of torque. The engine also features the i3S start-stop technology. The engine is mated to a CVT gearbox.

The prominent features of the new Hero Destini 125 include digital-analogue instrument cluster, LED tail light, external fuel filler cap, body-coloured rear view mirrors, mobile charging port, boot light and much more.

The Hero Destini is equipped with telescopic forks at the front and hydraulic shock absorbers at the rear. Braking duties are handled by drum unit at both the ends. The scooter is shod with tubeless tyres. Hero might also offer an optional front disc brake when the scooter is launched in India.

Thoughts On The Hero Destini 125
Hero MotoCorp is all set to launch the new Destini 125 scooter in the Indian market. The Hero Destini 125 will be marketed as a family scooter with a host of features. We expect the Hero Destini 125 to be priced around Rs 62,000 ex-showroom. The Hero Destini 125 will rival the likes of Honda Grazia, TVS Ntorq 125, Suzuki Burgman Street and the Aprilia SR125.
