Ducati has also revealed that the four all-new motorcycles will be launched in India in 2018. Ducati is expected to launch the Multistrada 1260 adventure motorcycle and the Scrambler 1100 in the country.
The details about other two Ducati bikes are scarce, but one of them is expected to be the Ducati Monster 821. The Monster 821 was discontinued from the Indian market in 2017 due to the implementation of BS-IV emission norms.
Apart from the four new models, Ducati is also expected to bring the 959 Panigale Corse with special racing livery, fully-adjustable Ohlins suspension and a new Akrapovic full exhaust system. The kerb weight of the motorcycle is also reduced by 2.26 kg.
Powering the Ducati 959 Panigale Corse is the same 955cc L-twin engine churning out 150bhp and 102Nm of torque. The Ducati Scrambler 1100 will draw power from a 1,079 cc, L-twin engine producing 85bhp and 88Nm of torque.
The Ducati Scrambler 1100 also comes loaded with features such as a slipper clutch, ABS, traction control, multiple riding modes and ride-by-wire throttle.
Ducati India is also celebrating its third anniversary in the Indian market. Ducati commenced its India operations in 2015 with its first dealership in Delhi-NCR region. Since then, Ducati has expanded its sales and service network to all the major cities in India.
In 2018, Ducati has also launched a two-year extended warranty programme called as Ever Red and Ducati Financial Services which offers zero percent interest rate on select models. Apart from that, Ducati also plans to introduce rider training programmes in the country.
