Yamaha India Registers Double Digit Growth In May 2017
Yamaha India reported growth of 11 percent in the month of May 2017 in domestic sales compared to the same period last year.
India Yamaha Motor Pvt. Ltd. reported its sales grew by 11 percent for the month of May 2017 compared to the same period last year.
The motorcycle manufacturer said that it's newly launched all new powerful 249cc mid-class street fighter motorcycle FZ25 along with the launch of BS-IV variants of scooters and motorcycles was instrumental in its sales growth.

Yamaha's focus in expanding to tier-II and III cities with its products, servicing facilities and availability of spare parts have helped the brand to extend out to larger groups of the target population in increasing its sales.

Mr Roy Kurian, Senior Vice President, Sales & Marketing, Yamaha Motor India Sales Pvt. Ltd said, "Yamaha's journey with renewed vigour was readily welcomed in all over the country. Customers have always desired efficient technology and superior design which can complement their investment for a product."

He added, "This is what exactly in the world Yamaha is known for. The synchronisation between customers' needs and Yamaha's offerings is the secret of success."

He further said that the company would "defy the ongoing trends by bringing in products that rev hearts."

Presently, India Yamaha's product lineup includes YZF-R15, YZF-R15S, FZ 25, FZ-S FI, FZ FI, Fazer FI and SZ-RR.
Also, scooters such as Saluto, Saluto RX, Cygnus Ray-ZR, Fascino, Cygnus Alpha, Cygnus Ray Z; latest superbike MT-09 as well as imported models comprising of VMAX, YZF-R1M and YZF-R1.
