Updated Aprilia SR 150 To Be Sold In India By December 2017
The Aprilia SR 150 with adjustable suspension is due this December and here’s more details.
The Aprilia SR 150 scooter gained a lot of attention when it was first unveiled at the 2016 Auto Expo. Shortly after, when Aprilia announced the pricing (Rs 65,000 ex-showroom), enthusiasts were eager to own one.
True enough, the Aprilia SR 150 became the choice for those looking for an easy commuter with good power. While most enjoyed the performance and the handling dynamics of the Aprilia SR 150, some complained about the stiff suspension setup.
To address the issue and if reports by BikeWale is right, Aprilia could introduce adjustable front suspension as an option as part of the updated SR 150 due in December. However, the adjustable front suspension would be standard equipment with the Race Edition.
Apart from the much-needed adjustable front forks, there will be no other changes on the Aprilia SR 150. As for the pricing, Aprilia could charge customers around Rs 5000 extra for the updated SR 150 that is due this December.
DriveSpark Thinks!
The Aprilia SR 150 strikes a fine balance between performance, looks, and practicality, although the scooter is a bit on the expensive side for an average customer. With the introduction of adjustable forks, Aprilia could cater to a larger group of audience.
