UM Renegade Commando Mojave Special Edition Set To Enter India — Details Revealed

The UM Renegade Commando Mojave is a special edition motorcycle and will probably get a cosmetic upgrade, while the engine spec will remain same as the regular model.

UM Motorcycles, will soon add a new special edition model to the Renegade Commando motorcycle in India. The bike is named Renegade Commando Mojave and will launch during the month of October-November 2017.

As per reports from Indian Autos Blog, an interview with Mr Rajeev Mishra, Director Operations UM India & CEO at UM Lohia Two Wheelers Pvt Ltd. confirmed the launch of the new bike in India.

The special edition Renegade Commando Mojave pays tribute to the Mojave desert in North America. The cruiser will probably get a few cosmetic upgrades.

The Mojave desert is known for its challenging desert trail, hence the reason behind the company naming the Renegade Commando Mojave.

As for the engine specifications and gearbox, the new UM Renegade Commando Mojave is powered by a 25bhp 279cc water cooled, single cylinder engine and 21.8Nm of torque. The engine is paired to a 6-speed gearbox.

The above engine does its duties on the regular Renegade Commando model, which also comes with standard telescopic front forks and twin hydraulic springs for the rear.

The UM Renegade Commando is priced at Rs 1.64 lakh ex-showroom (Delhi). The special edition Mojave is expected to be priced slightly higher compared to the regular model.
