UM Motorcycles has launched the Renegade Commando Mojave and the Renegade Commando Classic motorcycles in India, priced at Rs 1.8 lakh and Rs 1.89 lakh, both ex-showroom. Bookings are open, and deliveries will start soon.
The Renegade Commando Classic, which was previously showcased during the 2016 Auto Expo boasts a two-tone gloss metallic paint job finish, along with chrome touches. The motorcycle, sold as an ultimate cruiser by the manufacturer, comes with saddlebags and tank cover, polycarbonate windshield, highway engine guards, and alloy back rest.
The UM Renegade Commando Classic on sale in India with a two tone metallic candy paint with shades of Copper Cream and Candy Metallic Glossy Black.
The Renegade Commando Mojave, inspired by the very Mojave Desert in the US and features a unique desert coloured matte paint, Mojave Desert logos, and fuel tank cell phone pad.
Both motorcycles, the Renegade Commando Classic and the Commando Mojave, have the same engine, a 279.5cc, single-cylinder liquid-cooled fuel injected engine producing 25bhp and 23Nm of torque, with the help of a 6-speed gearbox. Both motorcycles weigh 179kg (wet).
Also, UM Motorcycles has introduced a standard feature called the Service Alert Maintenance, giving customers a heads-up on service related information.
UM Motorcycles entered India recently and are looking to take a decent share in the cruiser motorcycle segment in India. With the launch of the two new motorcycles, the Commando Classic and the Commando Mojave, UM has its priorities on the right track.
