2017 TVS Apache RTR 200 4V Launched In India
The new Apache RTR 200 4V is shod with Pirelli tyres instead of the standard TVS Remora rubber.
Indian motorcycle manufacturer TVS has launched the 2017 Apache RTR 200 4V for Rs 97,800 ex-showroom (Mumbai). The motorcycle also gets an updated BSIV compliant engine and Auto Headlamp On (AHO).
The new Apache RTR 200 4V is shod with Pirelli tyres instead of the standard TVS Remora rubber. The manufacturer hasn't revealed that when the top-spec version with ABS and the fuel-injected motor will be up for sale.
There are no styling tweaks or visual updates on the new motorcycle except for the addition of BSIV sticker on the engine cowl. Powering the model is a 198cc oil-cooled single-cylinder engine that cranks out 20bhp of power and 18Nm of torque, is mated to a five-speed transmission.
The motorcycle now gets AHO feature in response to Indian government's latest mandate. Regarding dimensions, the motorcycle measures 2,050mm in length, 790mm in width, 1,105mm in height and has a wheelbase of 1,353mm.
The TVS Apache RTR 200 4V is the flagship model of the Hosur-based manufacturer and is one of the best 200-250cc segment streetfighters out there. TVS is also gearing up to launch its first fully-faired sports motorcycle based on the Akula 310 concept.
