Ahead of that, the images and specifications of the Apache RR 310 has been leaked on the internet. The latest images reveal the matte black colour of the faired motorcycle.
TVS has already teased the Apache RR 310 in a new video in which the motorcycle was finished in red colour and white racing stripes. The leaked images reveales the matte black colour of the motorcycle with a combination of gloss black racing stripes. The front cowl features the number plate holder and TVS branding.
Coming to the specifications, RushLane reports that the TVS Apache RR 310 will be the first motorcycle in India to feature a reverse inclined engine. The 313cc fuel injected, liquid-cooled engine produces 34.2bhp and 28Nm of torque. The engine is coupled to a 6-speed gearbox.
The Apache RR 310 is capable of accelerating from 0-60km/h in just 2.63 seconds before topping out at 165km/h. The motorcycle is likely to return an average mileage of around 25 to 30kpl.
Apart from that the Apache RR 310 features premium components such as Kayaba (KYB) upside down forks at the front and monoshock at the rear, Bybre brakes, ABS from Continental and Magneti Marelli ECU.
The Apache RR 310 comes with a fully-digital instrument cluster with an array of info such as lap timer, top speed timer, live mileage, average mileage, fuel range, engine temperature, gear position indicator, side stand alarm and accurate fuel indicator with 72 points (usually it will be 10 points in all the motorcycles).
The motorcycle is based on the trellis frame which is light, strong and flexible. The Apache RR 310 sports dual LED projector headlamps with both the lamps ON even in low beam, which is said to be the world's first. The motorcycle is shod with sticky Michelin radial tyres to extract maximum performance from the Apache RR 310.
Other technical details of the Apache RR 310 include dual-channel ABS with RLP (Rear wheel Lift Off Protection), best-in-class ground clearance of 180mm and liquid-cooling with OWHE (Oil water heat exchanger).
The Apache RR 310 is undoubtedly the game-changing product for TVS. On the paper the specs of the motorcycle are impressive, but we have to wait for the launch to know how good is the performance. We expect the motorcycle to carry a price tag of around Rs 1.8 lakh to Rs 2 lakh ex-showroom. The Apache RR 310 will lock horns with the likes of KTM RC390, Benelli 302R, Bajaj Dominar 400 and even the KTM Duke 250.
