TVS Akula 310 Production Name Revealed
The production name of the TVS Akula 310 has been revealed. TVS has trademarked the name of the motorcycle. The Akula is expected to launch by July 2017.
Indian two-wheeler manufacturer tvs motor Company is all geared up to launch its first fully faired motorcycle in the Indian market. Ahead of that the production name of the motorcycle has been revealed.

Now GaadiWaadi has reported that TVS has trademarked the name Apache RR 310S which is likely to be the production name of the motorcycle. Earlier it was expected that TVS would go with the name Akula.

Previously, the production version of the Apache RR 310S was spotted. The spy shots revealed the instrument cluster of the motorcycle which is different than the G 310 R.

The prominent features on the motorcycle include USD forks, split seats, projector headlamps, clip-on handlebars and larger fuel tank.

The TVS Apache RR 310S draws power from a 313cc liquid cooled single cylinder engine producing 34bhp and 28Nm of peak torque. The engine is developed by BMW Motorrad.

The same engine is also deployed in the BMW G 310 R. The fully faired TVS motorcycle is designed with inputs from race riders. The production variant of the motorcycle is identical to its concept version.

The Apache RR 310S is expected to launch by July 2017. The motorcycle will be produced at Hosur plant. When launched in India, the sports bike will take on the likes of KTM RC 390, Yamaha R3 and Kawasaki Ninja 300.
