The Akula 310 has been spotted on the Indian roads on many occasions and TVS seems to be ready to launch the motorcycle in the Indian market. It is expected that the Akula 310 might be renamed as Apache 300 in India.
According to an Indonesian website otomotifnet.com, TVS Akula will be launched in Indonesia between April and July 2017. TVS will introduce the Akula 310 in India before its Indonesia debut.
So it can be said that TVS will launch the Akula 310 in the Indian market anytime before April 2017. Although there is no official word from the manufacturer.
TVS Akula was spotted testing on the Indian roads which revealed key aspects of the fully-faired motorcycle. The motorcycle features a conventional fairing which is made up of fiberglass or ABS plastic.
The front end of the Akula 310 sports dual headlamps and LED pilot lamps and ram air induction vents. The motorcycle gets few changes compared to its concept version showcased at the 2016 Auto Expo.
The tail section of the motorcycle gets registration plate holder, turn indicators, saree guard, LED tail light and production version exhaust. The Akula 310 will be powered by a 313cc single cylinder water cooled engine which is deployed in the BMW G310 R.
The engine is capable of delivering 34bhp of power and 28Nm of torque. Apart from that the Akula 310 shares few other components such as brakes, suspension and frame from the BMW G310 R.
