Triumph Bonneville Motorcycles Recalled In India — Is Yours On The List?
Triumph Motorcycles has recalled a limited number of Bonneville bikes in India; the company is reaching out to the owners of affected bikes.
Triumph Motorcycles in India has recalled a limited number of Bonneville bikes for what the company calls "preventive part replacement".

As per CarandBike, Triumph dealers and authorised service centres are reaching out to affected customers and replacing the faulty part which could malfunction.

The replacement will be free of charge, and only some bikes are affected which have been identified. Dealers of Triumph Motorcycles are urging customers not to ride the bikes in question till the replacement has been completed.

The issue is with vehicles with specific chassis number series, in the fuel pump sub-harness. The company is taking pre-emptive measures to replace the faulty part.

In an email to the affected owners, Triumph says this is part of "a global exercise by the company to ensure stringent quality standards and customer safety."

Triumph Motorcycles launched the updated Bonneville series in India in 2016, with the entry-level Street Twin, followed by the Thruxton R, Bonneville T120, and the Bonneville T100.

Triumph India sold close to 1,000 motorcycles between April 2016 and February 2017, and the modern classics from the Bonneville portfolio made up the majority of sales for the company.
