Suzuki GSX -S750 India Launch Details Revealed

Suzuki will mainly focus on the 750cc naked street fighter. Suzuki will launch the middleweight adventure motorcycle, the V-Strom 650 in India in March 2018. Both the motorcycles will be locally assembled to keep the price in check.

The Suzuki GSX-S750 is a detuned version of the bigger GSX-S1000 as it gets similar bodywork and styling. The naked motorcycle draws power from a 749cc liquid-cooled, inline four-cylinder engine churning out 113bhp. The engine is coupled to a 6-speed gearbox.

Similar to its elder sibling, the Suzuki GSX-S750 gets a host of features such as multi-level traction control system and ABS. Other premium components include KYB suspension and Nissin brakes.

The V-Strom 650 draws power from a 645cc liquid-cooled, V-twin engine. The adventure motorcycle too gets a host of electronics in the form of traction control and ABS. The V-Strom will be offered in two variants standard and XT.

The Suzuki V-Strom 650XT is equipped with hand guards, engine protector and spoke wheels. Suzuki is planning to launch the XT version of the motorcycle but will decide after analysing the consumer response at the 2018 Auto Expo.

Suzuki is aiming to enter the middleweight naked and adventure motorcycle segment with the GSX-S750 and the V-Strom 650. The naked street fighter will rival the likes of Kawasaki Ninja Z900 and the V-Strom 650 will lock horns with the likes of Kawasaki Versys 650.
