Suzuki Gixxer SF ABS Brochure Leaked
Suzuki Two-Wheelers is all set to launch the ABS variant of the Gixxer SF FI.
Japanese two-wheeler manufacturer Suzuki is all set to launch the Gixxer SF with ABS in India in the coming weeks. Ahead of that the brochure has been leaked on the internet.
The leaked brochure suggests that the Gixxer SF with ABS will be offered only with the FI (Fuel Injected) variant of the motorcycle.
Apart from the ABS, the Gixxer SF FI will also feature several cosmetic updates. The faired motorcycle will feature new tri-colour paint scheme, new SP (Special Edition ) logo and refreshed graphics on the front cowl and fuel tank.

The ABS variant of the Gixxer SF FI is unlikely to feature any mechanical changes. The motorcycle draws power from a 154.9cc fuel injected engine producing 14.5bhp and 14Nm of torque. The engine is coupled to a 5-speed gearbox.
Currently, the dual-disc variant of the Gixxer SF FI is priced at Rs 93,032 ex-showroom (Delhi). The ABS variant of the motorcycle is expected to get dearer by Rs 15,000 to Rs 20,000.

ABS is a vital safety feature in a motorcycle and it will be mandatory for motorcycles above 125cc from April 2018. But it looks like Suzuki will offer the safety feature before it is made mandatory in the country.
