Suzuki Gixxer Announced As Lead Sponsor Of FC Pune City
Suzuki Gixxer has been announced as the lead sponsor of FC Pune City.
The Indian wing of the Japanese two-wheeler manufacturer, Suzuki Motorcycle India Private Limited (SMIPL) has announced the Gixxer as the official sponsor of FC Pune City.
The FC Pune City is competing in its fourth season of the Indian Super League. The Suzuki Gixxer series has been popular in India since its launch which led to this partnership.
Under the partnership between Suzuki and FC Pune City, the Pune FC jerseys will have the Suzuki Gixxer logo up on the front of the playing and practice kit jerseys as the lead sponsor. Suzuki has been an active player in the premium 150cc motorcycle segment, and the latest partnership will further help Suzuki.
Executive Vice President Sales and Marketing, Suzuki India, Sajeev Rajasekharan said, "We are excited to partner FC Pune City for the upcoming season of Indian Super League. As a brand, Suzuki embodies excitement, sportiness and the spirit of youthfulness."

Commenting on the partnership, CEO of FC Pune City, Gaurav Modwel said, "Sporty youth is the word that binds both Suzuki Gixxer and our Club. Both our team and Suzuki Gixxer believe in providing a stable, sporty and an attractive experience, therefore there is enough synergy between both the brands here to come together."
The motorcycles under the Gixxer series is very popular in the country due to its sporty design and performance. All the motorcycles under the Gixxer brand draw power from a 154.9cc single cylinder engine producing 14.5bhp and 14N of torque.
The Gixxer series is offered in both the naked and fully faired form which attracts the young buyers. The Gixxer series is also equipped with premium features such as digital instrument cluster, disc brakes and ABS.
