Japanese two-wheeler maker Yamaha is already testing the Fazer 250 on the Indian roads. But now a Yamaha scooter has been spotted testing in India.
BikeAdvice has spotted the new scooter testing without any camouflage. The scooter is finished in the white paint scheme. Considering the growth of scooter segment in India, Yamaha is readying its another product.
After the Fascino, Yamaha is ready to strike with another scooter in the Indian market. The scooter had a Yamaha logo on the grabrail and the tail lamp. The scooter was spotted testing in Chennai.
The new scooter is likely to be equipped with an 110cc engine. The rear design of the scooter is sporty and looks like it shares some design cues from the Fascino.
The new scooter might replace the Cygnus Alpha, which did not perform well in India. By looking at the spy image, the scooter is likely to head on against the likes of Honda Activa and TVS Jupiter.
