Royal Enfield Unveils New Safety Features For Its Models In Europe
Royal Enfield has updated the Classic range, Continental GT and the Bullet EFI with ABS and Rear Disc brakes to comply with Euro 4 emission norms.
Royal Enfield has unveiled Euro-4 compliant Classic and the Bullet with dual channel ABS and rear disc brakes, while the Continental GT gets the ABS update.
The company sells Classic 500 in Desert Storm, Chrome, Battle Green, Squadron Blue and the 500 in the European market. The company also sells Continental GT and the Bullet 500 EFI. In an effort to comply with the Euro-4 emission norms, Royal Enfield has updated its range of motorcycles with ABS and rear disc brakes.
All the motorcycles are now equipped with dual channel ABS and will be a standard fitment for the 2017 editions. Apart from the ABS and rear disc brake and the overall design remains the same for the Royal Enfield motorcycles.
As for the engine specs, all the motorcycles' power output remains the same. Royal Enfield will update its product range in India as well as the emission norms are set to kick in 2017.
Expect a marginal increase in price on the Royal Enfield motorcycles equipped with the dual channel ABS and models fitted with rear disc brakes.
Royal Enfield had earlier mentioned that by March 2017, there will be different variants for its models in India and the update of ABS and rear disc brakes are expected to be offered by the company.
In India, Royal Enfield sells various models under the segment of cafe racer, cruiser, retro street, standard street and the entry level adventure motorcycle.
The company is expected to launch a powerful Continental GT by the end of the March 2017 and will be the flagship model for Royal Enfield. The Continental GT 750 has been spied testing in Spain that features a twin-cylinder engine with dual exhaust pipes.
