Video: Royal Enfield 750 Teased Ahead Of Unveil At EICMA

Royal Enfield is all set to unveil twin-cylinder motorcycles at the EICMA, or the Milan Motorcycle Shows to be held from November 7 to 12, 2017. Ahead of the unveiling, CEO of Royal Enfield, Mr. Siddhartha Lal has teased the bikes in a new video.
The iconic motorcycle maker has been testing the twin-cylinder 750cc bikes and has been spotted several times in India. While there are no official details, this is the first time Royal Enfield has revealed the sound or the thump of the twin-cylinder engine. Watch the video below.
Presently, Royal Enfield manufactures motorcycle with a displacement of up to 535cc; now the company is looking to enter the lucrative mid-size engine segment with the 750cc parallel twin-cylinders.
While there are no details of the specifications of the new Royal Enfield 750, spy shots reveal that the motorcycle is based on the Continental GT chassis with telescopic suspension at the front and dual spring suspension at the rear. We expect the motorcycle to be equipped with disc brakes in the front and rear along with dual channel ABS.

In a recent spy video of the Royal Enfield 750, the motorcycle seemed to reach top speeds in the range of 160km/h, staking claim to Siddhartha Lal that the motorcycle will be highway worthy and will cater to international markets which have quicker roads than India.

With global motorcycle manufacturers introducing bikes with engine displacement more than 750cc in India, it shows that the Indian market has grown from commuter to performance bikes. The Royal Enfield 750 bike is expected to be priced in the range of Rs 2 lakh to Rs 3 lakh to be position as an affordable mid-size engine capacity motorcycle.
