OiLibya Rally Of Morocco: CS Santosh And Aravind KP Stage 5 Updates
The 2017 edition of the OiLibya Rally Of Morocco has concluded and CS Santosh and Aravind KP recorded a strong result.
The 2017 iteration of the OiLibya Rally Of Morocco has come to an end after five gruelling stages. The final stage of the rally was a 180km of racing against the clock.
Hero MotoSports Team Rally rider Joaquim Rodrigues finished the rally in the seventh position. His teammate, Indian rider CS Santosh recorded his best ever result by finishing the rally in 15th place.
The fifth stage of the rally was a trouble-free run after bad weather conditions disrupted the previous stages. Both the Hero MotoSports riders showed impressive pace to record strong results. KTM rider Matthias Walkner won the rally.
Santosh said, "From day one, I made good progress and built up every day. I definitely didn´t repeat the mistakes I made last year. Back then I struggled a lot but, this year I have a better feeling with the new bike and everything is working really well."
Sherco TVS rider Joan Pedrero finished the rally in a fine fifth place. His teammate Adrien Metge crossed the finish line in the tenth position. Indian rider Aravind KP finished in a strong 13th place.

CS Santosh and Aravind KP showed impressive pace in the tough and demanding conditions. The final round of the World Cross Country World Championship was a perfect training ground for the 2018 Dakar Rally.
