New Honda Activa 4G Launched With BS-IV Engine; Priced At Rs 50,730
Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) launched the new Activa 4G scooter with BS-IV compliant engine and Automatic Headlamp On(AHO) feature.
Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) launches the new Activa 4G, the fourth generation upgrade of its 110cc automatic scooter with the new BS-IV compliant engine and Automatic Headlamp On (AHO). The scooter is launched with a price tag of Rs 50,730 ex-showroom (Delhi).

The new Activa 4G is equipped with features such as a redesigned front center cover design and a mobile charging port. Rest of the features are carried over from the previous generation model including tubeless tyres, under seat storage space, and CLIC mechanism (CLIC or the Convenient Lift up Independent Cover).

The new Activa 4G is available in two new colour options - Matt Selene Silver Metallic and Matte Axis Grey Metallic.

The newly launched Honda Activa 4G also features Honda's Combi Brake System (CBS) with Equalizer technology. The Equalizer distributes the braking force between front and rear wheels simultaneously by applying the rear brakes.

The Activa 4G is powered by the existing 109cc Eco Technology (HET) BS-IV compliant engine producing 8bhp and 9Nm of peak torque. The scooter also gets the Automatic Headlamp On (AHO) feature.

Commenting on the launch, Senior Vice President, Sales and Marketing, HMSI, Yadvinder Singh Guleria said, "With trust of over 1.5 crore Indian families, Honda's iconic Activa is the first automatic scooter to become not only India's but also World's Number 1 selling two-wheeler in 2016."

He added, "The fourth generation BS-IV compliant upgrade of the most loved family scooter -Activa 4G is ready to delight customers once again with added convenience of mobile charging socket and new colours."
