Hero MotoCorp Unveils The New Passion Pro, Passion XPro And Super Splendor In India
Hero MotoCorp has unveiled three new commuter motorcycles in India.
World's largest two-wheeler manufacturer Hero MotoCorp has unveiled its three new commuter motorcycles: the 125cc Super Splendor, the 110cc Passion PRO and the 110cc Passion XPro.
Hero MotoCorp will launch the three motorcycles in India in a phased manner, starting from January 2018. The company is already a dominant player in the commuter motorcycle segment and the three new models will further strengthen its position.
New Passion Pro
The new 110cc Passion Pro is loaded with an array of convenience, safety and utility features which integrates very well to offer improved handling and hassle-free riding experience. The motorcycle draws power from a 110cc TOD (Torque On Demand) BS-IV compliant engine producing 9.27bhp and 9Nm of peak torque.

The new Passion Pro also features Hero's i3S (Idle-stop-start system), and it offers 12 percent more power and torque compared to the outgoing model. The motorcycle can accelerate from 0-60km/h in 7.45 seconds.
The new Passion Pro also features digital-analog instrument cluster, all-time Headlamp On (AHO) and side-stand indicator. Other prominent highlights of the motorcycle include new muscular fuel tank with flush-type cap and a modern and sleek tail lamp.
New Passion XPro
The new Passion XPro is targeted towards young buyers, and it features a right mix of style, technology and performance. Powering the motorcycle is the same 110cc TOD (Torque On Demand) BS-IV compliant engine producing 9.27bhp and 9Nm of peak torque.
On the design front, the new Passion XPro features new sharper fuel tank with shrouds, sporty rear cowl, dual-tone mirrors and LED tail lamp. The motorcycle comes with a host of features such as digital-analog instrument cluster, all-time Headlamp On (AHO) and flush-type fuel lid.
The new Hero Passion XPro will be available in five premium dual-tone colour schemes: Sports red with black - powerful and warm, Black with sports red - strong and popular, Black with techno blue - vibrant and youthful, Black with heavy grey - elegant and sober, Force silver with black - cool and bright. The motorcycle will be offered in both drum and disc brake variants.
New Super Splendor
Hero claims that the new Super Splendor ticks all the boxes with its best-in-class performance and stability. This is in addition to the reliability and high fuel efficiency that are distinct to the Splendor brand.
The new Super Splendor is powered by a 125cc air-cooled, single cylinder engine producing 11.2bhp and 11Nm of peak torque. Hero claims that the new motorcycle produces 27 percent more power and six percent more torque compared to the previous model. The motorcycle is capable of reaching a top speed of 94km/h.
The new Super Splendor comes with a host of utility and comfort features such as AHO, side-stand indicator, wider rear tyre, updated seat profile and side reflector, largest under seat storage in class with additional storage in front under the tank. The chrome finish muffler, sleek tail light and modern graphics enhance the sporty look of the motorcycle.

Now, with the introduction of three new motorcycles, the company will further strengthen its position in the market. Hero is also expected to launch an all-new 200cc performance motorcycle which is expected to launch at the 2018 Auto Expo in February.
