2017 Bajaj Pulsar 220 Gets New Updates
Indian two-wheeler manufacturer Bajaj Auto has rolled out a new update for the Pulsar 220. The power figure of the motorcycle is marginally reduced.
Indian two-wheeler manufacturer Bajaj Auto updated its entire Pulsar lineup with the new BS-IV engine and Automatic Headlamp On (AHO) feature.
The 2017 Pulsar series also received new paint schemes. Now the company has rolled out another update to the Pulsar 220. It gets new white graphics on red and black variants, and the power has been marginally reduced.

The Bajaj Pulsar 220 has been in the Indian market for a long time. But still, the motorcycle brings good sales for the company. Despite the outdated styling, the Pulsar 220 has maintained its market presence.

In the latest update, Bajaj Auto has reduced the power of the motorcycle to 20.93bhp, a marginal decrease by 0.12bhp. The peak torque stands at 18.55Nm, decreased by 0.57Nm.

Apart from the power figures, the rest of the technical specification remains the same. Previously, Honda also reduced the power output of the BS-IV compliant Unicorn 150 and CB Hornet 160R.

The 2017 Bajaj Pulsar 220 draws power from a BS-IV compliant 220cc oil cooled, single cylinder engine.The engine is mated to a 5-speed gearbox. As per reports the motorcycle gets the new paint schemes, but they are not updated on the official website.

The Pulsar 220 features disc brakes at both the ends, projector headlamps and LED tail lights. The 2017 variant also gets a matte black finish on the exhaust cannister. The motorcycle is priced at Rs 91,201 ex-showroom (Delhi).
