Italian superbike manufacturer MV Agusta has revealed the F4 LH44, a limited edition motorcycle designed in collaboration with three-time Formula One world champion Lewis Hamilton.
The partnership follows the success of their first product, the Dragster RR LH. The F4 LH44 is based on the F4 RC model but gets some distinctive features.
To distinguish the F4 LH44 from the F4 RC, the motorcycle is finished in candy apple red colour. It also features new carbon fiber elements, Alcantara seat, blacked-out engine block and a tinted windscreen.
The F4 LH44 draws power from a 998cc four-cylinder, Corsa Corta engine with a central timing chain and radial valves producing 202bhp. But the F4 LH44 comes with a performance kit which bumps up the power by 10bhp to 212bhp.
The special edition superbike is equipped with Ohlins upside down front forks and monoshock suspension at the rear. Apart from that, the motorcycle gets magnesium alloy parts and carbon fibre components which play a key role in weight reduction.
The FH LH44 is shod with Pirelli Diablo Supercorsa SP tyres with red sidewalls which features the LH44 logo, Hamilton's initials and race number. Just 44 units of the special edition motorcycle will be built.
Commenting on the new superbike, Hamilton said, "I am particularly excited to introduce my new bike, the F4 LH44. It looks quite stunning and I had the pleasure of riding on track a few weeks ago in Italy, it feels great and combines the best of both worlds, a race bike for the road!"
Lewis Hamilton and MV Agusta's partnership had previously created the Dragster RR LH which was a successful project. Now, the F4 LH44 has been revealed which gets few additional features and premium high-end components to boost the performance of the special edition superbike.
