MotoGP Grand Prix Of The Americas: Marquez Claims Victory; Vinales Crashes
The MotoGP race of Americas saw Marc Marquez take the win, making it his fifth straight win in Austin.
The Grand Prix of the Americas saw a lot of action as Marc Marquez claimed victory, followed by the 'Doctor' Valentino Rossi in second and Dani Pedrosa in third.

Movistar Yamaha rider Vinales suffered a crash in turn 18, which forced him out of the race, while Ducati rider and former Rossi's teammate, Jorge Lorenzo finished in the ninth place.

The Grand Prix of the Americas was Marquez' fifth win in a row in Austin and his 11th win in the US soil. Rossi put up a fight towards the end, fending away a tough fight from Dani Pedrosa.

On the overall scores, Valentino Rossi leads the championship regarding points and is focussed on taking this year's championship trophy.

The next race is scheduled to take place in Jerez, Spain, where Rossi took the win last year. Can the ‘Doctor' put up a good show and extend his lead? Time will tell.
