Tastefully Modified JvB-Moto BMW R NineT Scrambler
Italy-based JvB-Moto has modified a BMW R nineT Scrambler to give it a modern functional design and old-school looks. The technical specs on the motorcycle remains the same.
The trend of modified motorcycles is on the rise in recent times. Especially the scramblers are the favourite among the modifiers.
But in this case, the stock motorcycle itself is a scrambler, and the modifier has tweaked the motorcycle in such a way that the design has been completely revamped.
The Cologne-based JvB-Moto is a well-known name in the modified bike business. This time Jens vom Brauck has shown his magic on the BMW R nineT Scrambler. The modified Scrambler features slim design and killer looks.
The overall design of the motorcycle is much modern compared to the stock Scrambler. It is a mix of functional design and old-school-style. It took eight months to complete the build.
The modified Scrambler gets fabricated aluminium tank, custom air box with carbon fibre covers and the electronics layout was also tweaked to get everything to work. The ABS module was also relocated.
The rear section of the motorcycle features new subframe with a solo seat, aluminium tail fender, LED tail light, number plate holder and pin-styled turn indicators. The scrambler also gets custom Arrow exhaust can.
Up front, the modified R nineT features Jvb-Moto signature headlamp. The handlebars are replaced with the cross-braced setup. The control switches and the instrument cluster remains the same.
Apart from that, the scrambler is equipped with carbon fibre wheel covers and chunky dual-sport tyres. There are no other performance upgrades on the motorcycle. The motorcycle draws power from a 1,170cc flat-twin engine producing 110bhp and 116Nm of peak torque.
