Michelin Launches Tyres For Harley-Davidson Motorcycles In India
French tyre manufacturer Michelin has introduced new range of tyres for Harley-Davidson motorcycles in India. The tyres will be available as standard fitment on the Harley-Davidson motorcycles.
French tyre maker Michelin has launched co-branded Harley-Davidson tyres in India. A range of six Michelin Scorcher tyres will be available across Michelin dealers and Harley-Davidson network in the country.
In a statement, Michelin stated that the Michelin Scorcher 11 and the Michelin Scorcher 31 are fitted as standard equipment on Harley-Davidson Sportster, Dyna, V-Rod and Harley-Davidson Street motorcycles.
The Michelin Scorcher 31 has been recently approved as an accessory fitment for the Harley-Davidson touring range. The tyre will be fitted as original equipment on all the Harley-Davidson Sportster and Dyna models.
The Michelin tyres come with the special Amplified Density Technology (ADT). The ADT has rigid, high-density carcass for enhanced grip and feedback from the tyre.
The Michelin Scorcher 31 tyres are the first radial tyres for the Harley-Davidson motorcycles. The tyre is intended for the Harley-Davidson Sportster SuperLow, XR 1200, V-Rod Muscle and Night Rod Special models.
Commercial Director, Two Wheels for Michelin Africa-India-Middle East, Pradeep G Thampy said, "We are very pleased to bring the Michelin Scorchers, specially designed and engineered for passionate Harley-Davidson riders in India."
