Austrian two-wheeler manufacturer KTM has launched the India-made 2017 Duke 390 in the Philippines. The deliveries of the motorcycle will commence from July 2017.
KTM has also launched the special edition Duke 390. The special edition Duke 390 gets body graphics inspired by the Philippines national flag.
The 2017 Duke 390 draws power from a 373cc single cylinder, liquid cooled, fuel-injected engine. The engine churns out 43.5bhp and 37Nm of peak torque, and it is paired with a 6-speed gearbox.
The naked motorcycle is equipped with a slipper clutch, new TFT instrument console, bifurcated LED headlamps and 13.4-litre metal fuel tank. The kerb weight of the motorcycle stands at just 149kg.
KTM has partnered with Ayala Corporation to assemble the motorcycles at the new manufacturing facility in the Philippines. The 2017 Duke 390 carries a price tag of PHP 2,68,000 (approximately Rs. 3.46 lakh).
KTM is expanding its market reach by launching the Duke series in several countries. The India-made Duke 390 is also launched in a special edition livery. But KTM has no plans to introduce a unique graphics variant for the Indian market.
