GST Effect: KTM India Increases Prices Across The Range
KTM India has increased the prices across the range as the GST will come into effect from July 1, 2017.
The Government of India is implementing the Goods and Service Tax (GST) from July 1, 2017. Now, KTM India has announced its post-GST prices for all the models.
KTM India has increased the prices across the product portfolio. The prices have increased up to Rs 5,797 depending on the model. The new prices will be effective from July 1, 2017.
The KTM Duke 200 has seen a price hike of Rs 4,063, and the new price stands at Rs 1.47 lakh ex-showroom (Delhi). The KTM RC 200 is dearer by Rs 4,787, and it costs Rs 1.76 lakh ex-showroom (Delhi).
The newly launched Duke 250 gets a bump in price by Rs 4,427 and will be retailed at Rs 1.77 lakh ex-showroom (Delhi). The 2017 KTM Duke 390 gets the least hike, and the post-GST price stands at Rs 2.26 lakh ex-showroom (Delhi).
The KTM RC 390 has received the highest price bump of Rs 5,797 and carries a price tag Rs 2.31 lakh ex-showroom (Delhi).

The new GST taxation policy has raised the tax rates in the automobile industry. And several automakers are raising the prices of their products. But the smaller capacity motorcycles will be cheaper as opposed to the bigger capacity motorcycle.
