KTM Duke 250 India Launch Confirmed ― Ready To Race?
KTM Duke 250 India launch confirmed, and the motorcycle will be placed between the updated 2017 KTM Duke 200 and 390.
KTM is scheduled to launch the updated Duke Range in India – Duke 200 and 390 – along with a new model, the Duke 250. The motorcycle was recently seen testing under camouflage.
Sources to AutoCar India have revealed the information, and when launched, the Duke 250 will be placed in between the 200 and the 390.
While the Duke 390 is expected to receive significant changes, the 250 will skip the LED headlights and the new TFT instrument console. Other bits the Duke 250 will not feature are the Metzeler tyres found on the Duke 390, and will instead come with MRF Revz C1 tyres that come on the Dominar 400.
Speaking about performance, the KTM Duke 250 is sold in international markets with a single-cylinder engine that makes 31bhp and 24Nm of torque, so expect India to receive the same.
Pricing is key, and since the motorcycle will be placed between the 200 and the 390, the Duke 250 could wipe out competition. Key contenders will be the Yamaha FZ 250, Benelli TNT 25, and the Kawasaki Z250.
While the pricing remains a secret, it's only a two-day wait until the KTM Duke 250 makes its debut in India officially.
