Kolkata Police Adds Harley-Davidson 750 Motorcycles To Its Fleet
The Kolkata Police is expected to use the Harley-Davidson 750 for VIP duty.
Kolkata Police has added Harley-Davidson 750 motorcycles to its fleet. The bikes will be utilised for the most special reasons and escorting VIPs will be one of them.
Back in 2015, Gujarat Police had added Harley-Davidson motorcycles to its fleet making them the first police force in the country to receive high capacity bikes. Nine Bridges Harley-Davidson customised the Harley-Davidson motorcycles for the Gujarat Police.
We are not sure who will customise the motorcycles for the Kolkata Police; however, the bikes could be customised similar to what we have seen in the Gujarat Police's motorcycles.
Harley-Davidson's portfolio in India includes Street, Sportster, Dyna, Touring and the CVO. The 750 is the entry-level motorcycle in India.
Harley-Davidson 750 is powered by a liquid-cooled 749cc twin cylinder motor with 59Nm of torque. Harley-Davidson retails the 750 in India starting with a price tag of Rs 4.98 lakh ex-showroom.
