Kawasaki’s New Cruiser Motorcycle Teased Ahead Of India Launch
Kawasaki is all set to launch a new cruiser motorcycle in the Indian market.
Japanese motorcycle manufacturer Kawasaki is all set to launch a new cruiser motorcycle in the Indian market and has also teased its new offering in the country.
The new cruiser motorcycle in question is the Vulcan 650 S, a stylish and powerful cruiser in the 650cc segment which is set to launch in the coming days.

The Kawasaki Vulcan 650 S is not your regular cruiser; it comes with a host of premium features with a classic cruiser-style stance. The motorcycle comes with a low-slung seat, and Kawasaki will also offer customisable seating and adjustable foot pegs to suit every individual.

The front profile of the Vulcan 650 S features modern and stylish headlamp, the muscular fuel tank gels well with the overall design. The rear of the motorcycle gets a sporty cowl and chunky tyre with a sleek tail design.

Powering the Kawasaki Vulcan 650 S is the 649cc liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine, producing 60.2bhp and 62.78Nm of torque. The engine comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox. The same engine is also deployed in the fully-faired Ninja 650.

The Vulcan 650 S is equipped with telescopic forks at the front and monoshock suspension at the rear. Braking duties are handled by discs at both the ends and ABS is offered as standard. Globally, the Vulcan is offered in three variants, standard, SE and Cafe. It is not clear which variant will make it to India.

The Kawasaki Vulcan is a modern and stylish cruiser with a host of features. The cruiser will be brought to India via CKD (Completely Knocked Down) route. Kawasaki states that the Vulcan 650 S will come at an exciting price tag.

Kawasaki is all set to launch the Vulcan 650 in India. Once launched the cruiser will rival the likes of Harley-Davidson Street 750 and the upcoming Royal Enfield 650cc twins: Interceptor and Continental GT. We expect the Vulcan 650 to be priced at around Rs 6.5 lakh ex-showroom.
