Kawasaki Z900 launched in India. The Japanese motorcycle manufacturer has revised the prices of the Z900 and the naked motorcycle is now priced at Rs 7.68 lakh ex-showroom (pan-India).

However, unlike before, the new Z900 does not include the accessories that were offered on it when it was first launched in March 2017. These include frame sliders, fork sliders, tank pad, pillion seat cowl, radiator guard and a 12V power socket, and a small fly screen.

Mechanically, the Kawasaki Z900 remains unchanged. The 948cc in-line, four-cylinder engine produces 123bhp @ 9,500 rpm, and 98.6Nm of torque @ 7,500 rpm. which is sent to the rear wheel through a 6-speed gearbox. The engine is BS-IV compliant.

The new Kawasaki Z900 sports41mm Upside Down (USD) forks at the front, and receives a mono shock setup with adjustable rebound and preload functions at the rear. Braking duties are handled by 300mm dual discs brakes with axially mounted four-piston callipers up front and a single 200mm disc at the rear which are helped along by ABS.

DriveSpark Thinks!
The new Kawasaki Z900 competes with the likes of the Triumph Street Triple S and the new Ducati Monster 797 in the Indian market. However, with the new pricing, Kawasaki has now undercut both of its European rivals and is now an even more interesting proposal for naked motorcycle fans in India.
