2017 Kawasaki Z900 launched in India. The all-new Z900 is positioned below the Z1000 and will be a more profitable trade-off to the current Ninja 650/Er-6n customers.
India Kawasaki Motor has launched the Z900 in India as a replacement to the Z800. The new Z900 is priced at Rs 9 lakh ex-showroom (Delhi) around Rs 1.20 lakh more than the Z800.

The iconic super naked Z900 has the presence and attitude of the Kawasaki Z1 and GPz900R lines. The four-cylinder Kawasaki Z900 offers a blend of high revving sports ability and generous low-mid range pulling power.

Engine Specifications:
The 2017 Kawasaki Z900 is powered by the 948cc inline four-cylinder unit churning out 124bhp of power an 12bhp increase over the Z800. The new Z900 is also lighter by 20.5kg than its predecessor with a kerb weight of 210.5 kg.

Features
Additionally, the new naked comes with features including the Kawasaki developed slipper clutch for more efficient downshifts, while ABS is offered as standard.

Suspension responsibilities of the Z900 are performed by the 41mm Upside Down (USD) forks at the front, while the rear receives a mono shock setup with adjustable rebound and preload functions.

Braking power for the Kawasaki Z900 comes from 300mm dual disc brakes at the front with the axially mounted four-piston callipers and a 250mm disc with a single-piston calliper at the rear.

The new Z900 is built on the lightweight tube trellis frame with extruded aluminium swingarm combination. The new gearbox offers longer overdrive sixth gear that befits the variety of riding scenarios.

Along with the stylish and practical fuel tank as well as the low seat and wide flat handlebars, the Z900 promises to deliver an aggressive yet ergonomically pleasing stance.
Kawasaki has managed to keep prices aggressive despite the increase over the Z800, as the Z900 remains to be one of the more affordable four-cylinder bikes you can buy.
