2017 Kawasaki Ninja 300 Launched In India; Priced At Rs 3.64 Lakh
The 2017 Kawasaki Ninja 300 launched in India; comes with new graphics and added features.
India Kawasaki Motor has launched its smallest Ninja 300 in India with new livery and looks sharper than the outgoing model. The new Ninja 300 is priced at Rs 3.64 lakh ex-showroom (Delhi).
The new Kawasaki Ninja 300 gets a fatter 140 section rear tyre on the 2017 model, opposed to the 130 section tyre on the outgoing model. Apart from these updates, the rest of the bike remains the same with the engine, suspension and braking. However, the new Ninja 300 misses out on ABS.
Kawasaki has powered the Ninja 300 with a 296cc, liquid-cooled, four stroke, parallel twin engine mated to a 6-speed gearbox developing 38bhp and 27Nm of torque.
The 2017 Ninja 300 also features assist, and slipper clutch providing a lighter feel at the lever and makes for smooth gear shifts. The new Ninja 300 also adheres to stricter new emission BS-IV regulations which will be effective from April 1, 2017.
Suspension responsibilities are handled by a 37mm conventional front fork with 120mm of travel and a uni-trak gas charged shock with 5-way adjustable preload for the rear.
Braking duties are performed by a single 290mm petal disc at the front and a 220mm petal disc at the rear. Dual-piston callipers grip both discs.
The 2017 Kawasaki Ninja 300 will rival the likes of the upcoming Benelli BN 302R, as well as the KTM RC 390.
