Indian Scout Sixty Gets A New Dual-Tone Paint Job —Time For Some Silver Thunder

American two-wheeler manufacturer Indian Motorcycle's entry-level cruises, the Indian Scout Sixty has got a new dual-tone paint scheme in Europe and will be available from April 2017 onwards. The new paint job is called Star Silver/ Thunder Black will join the existing colour line up.

Grant Bester, general manager of Indian Motorcycle in Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) said, "We're super happy with how Scout Sixty has been received in Europe, so adding this new two-tone scheme will only make this model even more appealing.

"Last year we invested heavily in a new paint facility in Spearfish, South Dakota and the result of that means Indian can produce incredible colours and finishes, not only on Scout Sixty but across the entire line-up."

The Scout Sixty is powered by a 999cc liquid-cooled V-Twin engine that cranks out 78bhp of power and 89Nm of torque. The motor is paired to a five-speed transmission. The model is based on the same parts and design of its bigger sibling and weighs 246kg.

In terms of dimension, the Scout Sixty measures 2,311mm in length, 880mm in width, 1,207mm in height and has a wheelbase of 1,562mm. It comes with 135mm ground clearance and a 12.5-litre fuel tank.

Overall, the motorcycle has a blacked out appearance with black seat along with matching black frame and wheels. The manufacturer also offers more than 200 accessories for the model including saddlebags, wire wheels, quick-release windscreens, etc.
