Indian Scout Bobber And Springfield Dark Horse Launch Details Revealed
Indian Motorcycle is all set to launch the Scout Bobber and Springfield Dark Horse motorcycles in the country.
Indian Motorcycle is all set to launch the Scout Bobber and Springfield Dark Horse motorcycles in the country. The company has also added the models to its official website.
ET Auto reports that the Scout Bobber and Springfield Dark Horse are likely to be launched in India in October 2017. But the deliveries will commence from November.
Indian Motorcycle has also commenced the booking for the Scout Bobber. The motorcycle can be booked at dealerships across the country by paying an amount of Rs 50,000.
The Indian Scout Bobber was unveiled in July 2017, and it is called as the stripped-down iteration of the regular Scout. It features chopped fenders, street tracker handlebar, bar-end mirrors and a new Indian badging.

The Scout Bobber draws power from the existing 1,131cc V-twin liquid-cooled engine producing 98.6bhp and 97.7Nm of torque. It is likely to be priced at around Rs 13.21 lakh and will rival the likes of Harley-Davidson Forty-Eight, Triumph Bonneville Bobber and the Moto Guzzi V9 Bobber.
Coming to the Indian Springfield, it is a full-size bagger cruiser motorcycle. The Dark Horse edition gets a matte-black theme for an aggressive look. It is based on the Chief's platform but gets additional design elements and features.
The Springfield Dark Horse draws power from a 1,811cc V-twin engine which pumps out 150Nm of torque. The motorcycle also features ABS (Anti-Lock Braking System), keyless ignition, quick release windshield, remote-locking hard saddlebags and tyre pressure monitoring system.
