Husqvarna Reports Increase In Sales; 2016 Marks Another Milestone
Last year, the dirt-focused brand launched its 2017 line-up of FE and TE Enduro models.
In the business year 2016, many two-wheeler manufacturers suffered a decline in the growth, but, the rebooted Swedish manufacturer Husqvarna has doubled its production. Under the Austrian ownership, the brand has delivered 30,700 motorcycles worldwide during the year 2016.
Due to the increased demand of the Husqvarna models, the manufacturer attained an increase in both sales (by 43%) and turnover. In 2015 also, the marque witnessed a growth of 32 percent when compared to the year-ago period.
The year 2015 marked Husqvarna's best year generating the largest ever turnover in its history. In 2016, the annual turnover further increased reaching more than 200 million Euros.
Last year, the dirt-focused brand launched its 2017 line-up of FE and TE Enduro models. 2016 also saw the unveiling of 701 ENDURO and 701 SUPERMOTO models, which comes with the latest engine technology in the segment.
Currently, Husqvarna offers a range of nine motocross bike which includes the latest additions; 2016 TC 50 and TC 65 models. The range also includes full-sized 2-stroke and 4-stroke models.
In 2016, the firm also unveiled the stunning Vitpilen 401 and Svartpilen 401 street bikes. These two models are the first ‘Real Street' motorcycles from the company and will hit the showroom floors in late 2017.
A few years back, Husqvarna was a dying star and many people wrote off the company. But the resurrection of the brand in the past two years was simply astonishing and now the Swedish marque glows like the Sun.
